Whether or not the Biden administration’s always situational enforcement of the law affords due process to mounted Border Patrol officers being falsely accused of “brutal and inappropriate” behavior as they kept invading migrants from illegally crossing our once sovereign border, all of their fellow officers should go on strike tomorrow, demanding that President Biden declare a national emergency and close the border until Congress transparently debates and enacts comprehensive immigration reform (” Scapegoats at the Texas Border,” editorial, Sep. 24).
Such a strike will force the progressive media — the same folks echoing Maxine Waters’ lies about slavery era-like “whipping” of migrants — and the White House to admit that the border crisis, unlike the upcoming Glasgow climate conference, actually demands their immediate attention.
And perhaps Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley will feel obligated to suspend their search for political extremists among our military’s rank and file long enough to defend of our nation from a real threat – the ongoing invasion that largely comprises welfare-state benefits-seekers, God bless them, not lawful asylum-seekers.
In any case, even if President Biden is “horrified” by Border Patrol officers doing their job, a majority of tax-paying American citizens are more horrified by his administration’s cravenly lawless efforts to create a permanent electoral majority for Democrats by suddenly, and without consent of the governed, importing millions of government-dependent future voters and quietly distributing them in swing states and districts.
A Border Patrol labor strike will help sound a patriotic alarm.
