Even as the political left demands significant taxpayer expenditures for a commision to investigate the supposedly mysterious causes of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, its media allies regulalrly report about one rather obvious leading cause: our two-tiered justice system that ultimately provides no justice at all. A Tennis Champion Millionaire and the Americans with Disabilities Act
Tennis great Naomi Osaka withdrew from the French Open, explaining that her depression and anxiety make fulfilling the tournament’s media requirements unpleasant and sometimes unbearable. And in an age when it’s become wokely fashionable to support almost everyone seeking special dispensations, the Wall Street Journal’s Jason Gay is hardly alone in suggesting Osaka should somehow be accommodated. But the media’s eagerness to create yet another victim serves no one, for if everyone’s a victim no one is. Read more
As Murders Spike, WaPo Remains Silent on the Lawless Chaos of Fatherlessness
As D.C.’s murder rate is rising for the fourth straight year, politicians, police, activists and, most unforgivably, our media continue to avoid discussion of the systemic fatherlessness that ultimately leads to lawless chaos and the senseless murders of young people of color. More platitude-filled coverage of vigils won’t change a thing. Read more…
Can’t Pin the Whole Rap on the ‘Blue-Eyed Devil’
One thing should be clear to fair-minded Americans of all races, if not to the reporters, columnists and editors of the Washington Post. Namely, that the whole rap for blacks’ continuing troubles – from fatherlessness and poverty, to achievement gaps and murderous violence – cannot be pinned on the Blue-Eyed Devil alone. So perhaps incoming Post executive editor Sally Buzbee can instill in her staff a fresh willingness to acknowledge and deal fairly with this obvious truth. Read more…
WaPo again Withholds Original Content So Readers Can’t Judge for Themseleves Whether It’s ‘Racist’
Whether it’s a 10-year-old tweet or the transcript from an obscure radio appearance for which some right-leaning individual may be getting canceled, Washington Post editors often choose not to republish the original content and instead insist that readers accept the Post’s subjective interpretation of the content as objective fact. The latest manifestation of this Ministry of Truth mind-control can be found in the reporting, or non-reporting, about a political cartoon published by the New York Daily News. Read More…
Post Hides News of Miffed ‘Maserati Man-Child’ Firing on Mother and Little Boy
As violent crime continues to rise, the Washington Post and D.C. politicians are emboldening criminals by working to castrate police. One such criminal driving a Maserati recently felt so emboldened after a hapless woman apparently cut him off in city traffic that he got out of his car to fire gunshots at her, her little boy in the backseat, and an eyewitness in the car behind him – all in broad daylight. Remarkably, the Post placed this story where readers were least likely to find it. Read more…
Post Reporter’s Biased View of Body-Cam Video Slants Coverage against Police
Washington Post crime-beat reporter Peter Hermann and his editors want us to believe them, not our own eyes, when it comes to police body-cam video of the justified shooting of a teenage gun criminal last September. But their insisting that Deon Kay was throwing the gun away just before being shot doesn’t make it so, and no objective viewer of the video can credibly second-guess the officer’s split-second, life-or-death decision to fire his weapon. Bezos-owned Post Buries News of D.C.’s Antitrust Suit against Amazon
There was a time not long ago when District of Columbia Attorney General Karl Racine could grab front page headlines any ol’ time he felt like it, simply by suing Donald Trump. But his new antitrust lawsuit filed against Jeff Bezos-owned Amazon was buried on p. A18 in today’s Washington Post — also owned by Jeff Bezos. Read more…
As WNBA Enters 25th Profitless Season, WaPo Columnist Roots for Still More Off-Putting Player Activism
Washington Post sports columnist and closet patriarchal oppressor Jerry Brewer wants to judge the WNBA not as other professional sports leagues that must turn a profit or go out of business but rather as some sort of never-ending government entitlement. Many on the left may agree with him, but don’t let them tell you they’re feminists. Because real feminists bristle at such condescending double-standards. Read more…
Did White Vote Fraudsters Have Felony Records, Too?
A Washington Post editorial blames skin color for the disparate sentences meted out to three Americans recently convicted of voter fraud. The fraudsters’ past criminal records may have had more to do with it, but the Post doesn’t want to talk about that. Read more…
