The original draft of this email was sent to Washington Post congressional reporter Mike DeBonis who rather charitably refers to the “Biden agenda” in his front-page story today. Of course, it’s likely been a couple of years since our twilighting president has been independently able to formulate much of an agenda beyond surviving till the next sunrise. In any case, since the email also asks DeBonis for an update on the incendiary story he wrote back in March, wherein a bomb-throwing-but-since-gone-silent congressional staffer effectively accused the U.S. Capitol Police of anti-Semitism, it was also copied to several senior Post editors, police officials, that staffer and his boss, Rep. Mondaire Jones (D-NY).
Dear Mike,
You insult readers’ intelligence when you refer to the “Biden agenda” [“Urgency in Biden agenda push,” July 5, A1].
The “Radical left’s agenda with bare majorities in both houses” would be more accurate and less insulting insofar as “Record Player” Joe, God bless him, is plainly twilighting, often seems lost and likely hasn’t had an “agenda” beyond surviving till tomorrow’s breakfast for a couple of years now.
The poor old man is merely a pawn, propped up by Dr. Jill, mean-grrrrl Kamala and the several dozen or so modern monetary and critical race theorists comprising the administration’s real decision makers. Democracy Dies in Darkness, Mike, so you shouldn’t work to fool readers and keep them in the dark.
Speaking of keeping readers in the dark, whatever happened to that U.S. Capitol Police “investigation” into Li’l Zach Fisch’s always specious claim, which you uncritically helped him publicize in March, about a copy of The Protocols of Zion supposedly left at a House office building police post? Readers still want to know if there really are anti-Semites guarding the Capitol.
