Though NBA superstar and oppressed-in-systemically-racist-America multimillionaire LeBron James bristles when anyone criticizes his jack-booted pals in totalitarian China – where he and fellow multimillionaire NBA commissioner Adam Silver hope to make many billions more – those pals just extended the brutal prison sentence of another skinny Hong Kong kid who’d had the temerity to peacefully protest on the last anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre.
Joshua Wong, who the Associated Press reports “rose to prominence as a student activist” and the “face of the 2014 pro-democracy protests,” was already locked up as a political prisoner and now faces 10 more months in a commie dungeon. But if all goes well for LeBron and Commissioner Silver, long before Wong ever sees the sun again they’ll have sweet-talked China’s bloodless President Xi into putting the NBA back on state-run television where much new revenue awaits. Ironically, some of that revenue will help LeBron fund more burn-down-America BLM protests here at home, for which few rarely spend so much as a night in jail. Thus it seems “Yellow Lives Don’t Matter” too much to Lebron and Silver.
